Position Description

We’re looking for a full-time, staff Supply Chain Analyst, MC to join our Day & Zimmermann team.

 

As the Supply Chain Analyst, here’s the work you’ll do:

  • Assists Supply Chain Team in issuing Supplier RFPs, receives and evaluates bids, and issues PO's less than $25k; Supports the management of multiple activities across the lifecycle of the Purchase Order; Utilizes SAP to create and amend requisitions, produce reports, receive materials/services, support problem resolution and PO close out.
  • Provides operational support to key stakeholders in Supply Chain by managing requisition status reports, supplying required documentation and guidance on internal supply chain procedures; Performs error resolution and troubleshooting of concerns within the Procurement processes in SAP; Generates routine and ad hoc reports as necessary; Assists in the development, maintanance, and interpretation of metrics.
  • Issues and manages requisitions including receipt of required deliverables (i.e. Client approval/Site Request/Supplier Proposals), performs supplier invoice reconciliations, and leads PO close out activities; Creates critical and emergency requisitions as directed by the management team in accordance with business needs.
  • Provides guidance to Operational stakeholders for requisition requirements including supplier invoice reconciliations, identification of potential requisition exposures relating to process requirements and delivery schedule; Maintains and organizes internal and external processes, supplier compliance and document repositories.
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative and positive working relationships with various internal stakeholders including Operations, Project Management and EPC teammates.

 

This role is for you if you have these skills:

  • Advanced proficiency level in Microsoft Office and strong working knowledge of SAP. High degree of technical savvy with a strong acumen in metrics reporting (PO spend data & opportunity analyses)
  • Must be flexible and highly adaptive to change. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving and customer focus with the proven ability to anticipate and quickly respond to customer needs within a matrixed organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong analytical ability and attention to detail. Understands and executes supply chain management systems and processes.
  • Understanding of process orientation related from PO to Closeout activities. Knowledge of the procure-to-pay process including Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Master Data & Conversion, Roles, Invoice Workflow and Approval Workflow.

And if you have these qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or Technical Degree in Business or related field
  • 5+ Year of experience in Construction, Power & Industrial Supply Chain
  • Experience with Construction/Projects industry  

 

In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the salary range 66,160 - $99,240 for this role is This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
